THE ART DONOR-THIS GUY WAS ONE OF THOSE LUCKY FINDS HUNTING AROUND THE INTERNET.HIS WEBSITE IS ONE OF THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN.AMAZINLGY WELL PUT TOGETHER MAD FLASH TYPE TOTALLY INTERACTIVE SITE THAT HAD ME LAUGHING MY BALLS OFF EVERY TWO MINUTES.

I'VE KNOWN DAVE FOR CENTURIES AND HE DESERVES A LOT MORE ATTENTION FOR HIS WORK THAN HE CURRENTLY GETS.HE'S A HARD WORKING SINGLE FATHER WHO'S ARTWORK HAS BEEN FEATURED IN A NUMBER OF NEW ENGLAND GALLERIES AS WELL AS GRACED THE PAGES OF A NUMBER OF COMIC BOOKS.HE'S WORKED WITH MANY SCREEN PRINTERS DESIGNING LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF COMPANY LOGOS.hIS PAINTINGS ARE INCLUDED IN A NUMBER OF PRIVATE COLLECTIONS AND HIS SERIES,'DESTINY HELL',WILL BECOME A REGULAR FEATURE RIGHT HERE IN THE PAGES OF THE RABID DOG.I AM CURRENTLY WORKING ON A COMIC SERIES WITH HIM ENTITLED,'EYE OF THE DAWN',THAT HAS LITERALLY BEEN IN THE MAKINGS FOR OVER A DECADE.BEEN PICKING AWAY AT THE STORY AND REWRITING ETC. SO THAT WHEN IT FINALLY SEES THE LIGHT OF DAY IT'LL BLOW YOUR FUCKING SOCKS OFF!!HE'S VERY AVAILABLE FOR ANY WORK YOU NEED DONE AND HE WORKS FAST!!WHAT AM I SAYING??GIVE THIS GUY SOME WORK ALREADY!!HE'S GOT A KID TO SUPPORT AND A MORTGAGE TO PAY!!!

DALE COPELAND-this lady wears the rabid dog label with pride!!she's probably the busiest person on the planet when it comes to creating art and connecting artists.she's responsible for the international collage exchange,the virtual tart gallery(where i'll be having a show in july of 08)as well as countless other projects in and around her home country of new zealand.she gives everything to promoting the art and artists of her home country,new zealand.just go to this lady's website and you can see what she's all about.she has some of the most amazing assemblages i have ever seen.and if you give her any shit,she can kick your ass-she's a black belt for fuck's sake!!(there are videos to prove it)- so be nice,for your own good.

CALLED RIVERSIDE ART,THAT HAS CONSISTENTLY HIRED A SLEW OF REALLY TALENTED ARTISTS OVER THE YEARS.THE OWNER BOB WAS KIND ENOUGH TO INCLUDE ME IN THAT LITTLE GROUP FOR A FEW YEARS(THANKS BOB-WHOOA,WAY TOO FAST-sorry,private joke there) AND MR.AGUIAR AND MR.BOUCHER STILL WORK THERE.ANOTHER REALLY INCREDIBLY TALENTED ARTIST THAT HE ADDED TO THAT LIST IS THE LOVELY YOUNG KIM GATESMAN.FROM WHAT I'VE GOTTEN TO KNOW ABOUT HER SHE WORKS,WORKS,WORKS.NOT ONLY DOES SHE PULL A FULL TIME GIG AT THE STORE BUT,SHE IS ALSO ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR OF CHERRY&WEBB GALLERY IN FALL RIVER,MA AND IS SHOWING HER WORK CONSTANTLY THROUGHOUT THE NEW ENGLAND AREA.SHE LIVES FOR THE WORK AND YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT THAT!!SHE ROCKS!!SO CHECK HER OUT!!

CAROL PARKS-i love this lady!!she's the original artfreak!!she sends me care packages full of intricately designed one of a kind zines that are loaded with all kinds of cool shit.she even sends me the occasional odd packets of those childhood favorites,POP POPS,you know those little white things that explode when ya'throw'em!!end up running around my studio popping them and laughing my ass off.like i needed something else for the neighbors to talk about....anyway.she spent many years doing the music thing with her hubby but,once the idiot decided to split on her,she dove headlong into the art thing.i was lucky enough to hook up with her thru dale copeland's international collage exchange and have since become great friends.she's a total whack job,i love it,check her out!!
RUEBEN RUDE-was lucky enough to spot this guy in juxtapoz mag in their reader art section.they should have been doing a feature article on him!!he's another busy as all hell artist who's work is doing the tour of various galleries around the country.he really ought to be getting more attention for what he does.check him out,you won't be disappointed!!
PARYS ST.MARTIN-unfortunately another lady I don't know a whole hell of a lot about other than the fact that she's also a webist with some really interesting work.
webists-an amazing group,to say the least,that I just joined.their founding members,ingrid and pygoya,are two of the busiest artists that i know and i have become fast friends with both.all in all it's one hell of a group of really talented people who want to connect the world through their art.there are always plenty of open projects going on to submit to and lots and lots OF really awesome work to check out!!so go there now and,who knows,maybe you'll join the group!!
RIVERSIDE ART-i worked here for a few years before i got my first art gig doing editorial cartoons for my local rag.bob,the owner was,and still is,very supportive of the artists who work for him.while that should be reason enough in and of itself to check this guys store out,keep in mind,they sell art supplies,original art,have a complete framing shop,gallery and a reprographics department that is unequalled locally.and there are always plenty of real artists working there to talk to about whatever it is you need.not a fucking 'staples-how can i help you-wanabe' among'em!!
